Basically I wrote a bass riff that I liked and wanted to write a song around it. I was being bullied by different people at that time making my life a living hell. The song served as a kind of spell to make them go away and to be braver in dealing with them. It was recorded in my bedroom on cassette tape and portastudio around 1988 using a toy Yamaha keyboard (PSS-50) for drums and a cheap Squier Stratocaster guitar.
